2025 Ram 1500
Refreshed for another generation, the 2025 Ram 1500 continues the brand’s legacy with a new heart. The Hemi is dead, love live the Hurricane! The big news of course is the introduction of the Hurricane engine formula, featuring a twin-turbo inline-six cylinder engine. Known for their supreme smoothness and balance, this new engine spins with the characteristics of a jet turbine, with no lag, and free of vibrations. There have been a reason inline-six engines have been a staple of luxury cars for decades, and it is most fitting of the luxurious nature of the Ram pickups. While other brands have opted for coarse V6 configurations, an inline-six is inherently balanced and smooth to make a better driving experience. And when the wallop of the twin-turbos hit, with the high-output model rated for 540-horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque (420-horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque in standard Hurricane form), you likely will not be missing the Hemi anytime soon.
