Dodge Challenger Ghoul?

Earlier this month, rumors were abound with plans of a new SRT Challenger. The Hellcat kicked things off in the big-horsepower wars, boasting over 700 horsepower. The Demon followed, as a 840 HP drag monster, with the more 'civilized' version, the Redeye coming soon after with 'only' 797 horses. Now, the talk is about the possibility of a lurking Ghoul in the shadows of the year's end. The internet is stating 1,000 horsepower is reckoned, and at $200,000. Okay, sure, that's a lot of money, but what else has 1,000 horsepower from the factor that's not at least $1 Million? Nothing. The supercharger is already on the large end of the spectrum, so an increase in displacement is likely to break the magic 1,000 mark. All we can really do at this time is sit back and watch and pray for the Ghoul. Because if there's one thing Dodge does better than anyone else, it's not giving a care about what everyone thinks with their "why not" attitude. So, honestly, Dodge, a one thousand horsepower Challenger? Why the heck not. Bring it on, Ghoul.
